One of the most obvious ways for consumers to address concerns about the integrity of their life insurance protection is to buy coverage, often at an increased rate, from highly rated mutual life insurance companies.  Two of the largest and most highly rated mutual life insurance companies in North America (and indeed, the world) are Northwestern Mutual and New York Life. PolicyTruth is seeking one agent from either New York Life or Northwestern Mutual to contribute periodically.

Do you help people sell their unwanted life insurance to third party investors?  Or do you invest in such policies, or help others invest in them?  The life insurance industry has been historically disparaging towards the secondary market for retail life insurance. PolicyTruth would love to have a life settlement producer and/or investor periodically share his/her perspective on the life insurance industry.

We are looking for contributions from executives, (including actuaries, underwriters, etc.) who are willing to shed light on aspects of the industry that are hard for consumers and even producers to comprehend.
